The Varsity

The Varsity is The World's Largest Drive-in Restaurant. They have been serving customers in Atlanta since 1928. People from all over the world come to experience The Varsity because there is nothing like it anywhere!

The Food

Whether it's a chili cheese dog, the rings, a Frosted Orange or maybe a fried pie, everyone has their favorites that keep them coming back. In 1928, when Frank Gordy started the Varsity, he set out to consistently serve delicious, quality food that was fun and fast. The Varsity is still committed to those principles today.

That's why they start out fresh each morning. Each day (except Sundays), the Varsity receives deliveries of fresh hot dogs, ground beef for chili, hamburger patties, bread and produce. Then they make all your favorites from scratch: Chili, French Fries, Onion Rings, Fried Pies, Chicken Salad, Pimento Cheese, Varsity Orange Drink, and Garden Salads.

The Varsity's fully equipped mobile kitchens make it easy to serve up all of The Varsity fresh hot favorites. They'll cook all the traditional fare right on site: Chili Dogs, Cheeseburgers, French Fries and Onion Rings. Also, don't forget the Peach and Apple Pies and Frosted Oranges.
